Meet Casey

With over 10 years of fine dining and instructional cooking experience, Casey’s culinary journey started long before his professional career did. At the age of 10, he embarked upon an adventure of a lifetime when his family decided to take a full year and travel to over a dozen countries around the world. While languages, customs, music, tastes and smells varied by country, food culture became a notable passion that quietly began to simmer. Little did he know that this experience would open his eyes to art in its various forms around the world, setting him on his own path of creative expression. Four years later, he would enter the kitchen at the bottom of the food chain, learning from distinguished mentors and quickly making his way up the ranks.

Casey continues to combine his love for world culture with his devotion to bringing artistry to his craft. Over the past decade, Casey has worked on the teams of some of the best restaurants in Canada, such as Terra of Substance Food Group and Fishbone Kitchen and Bar (perennial member of the top 100 restaurants in Canada list). Most recently, Casey has synthesized his culinary artistry and affinity for teaching in a series of Virtual Instructional Cooking Classes known as Casey’s Kitchen.
